Homer’s land & emerald waters
Full day cruise to Ios approximately 75 NM, 4h15 engine hours, Departure time 10am, Return 6.15pm
Our journey will begin from the port; we will sail along the red, white and black south beaches of Santorini, Aspronissi, the hot springs, the volcano and Ammoudi port in the caldera before heading to Ios. We will swim to the famous Magganari beach with the emerald waters. From the port with a taxi we will visit the amphitheatric Hora (Ios town) followed by a visit to Home’s grave. On our way back to Santorini we will swim at one of the numerous remote beaches of the island.

Hora (Ios town)
The charming Chora, the capital of the island is located just 2 km from the port. The cobblestone streets and the traditional buildings are remain unchanged over the time. At night time the island transforms in to one of the best party islands ever , the heart of party is located in the village with a big variety of clubs and bars for all kind of tastes
Manganari
This enchanting bay is divided into five consequent beaches and gulfs with shallow, cristalline emerald waters. In Manganari was shot the movie "Infinite Blue".
HOMER'S GRAVE
In Ios is located Homer's grave the most famous poet of ancient times and the author of the epic poems Iliad and Odyssey. His mother was originary from the island. According to the tradition, the locals killed Homer because he didn't solve the enigma put by them.
